Florida Water Products, Inc. opened it's doors for business in November 1983.  The original owner, Mr. Henry "Hank" Caballero had been in the swimming pool industry since the early 1970's as the owner of a successful retail store in Tampa, Florida.  Hank Caballero increasingly became frustrated with his store's ability to get merchandise timely from the current distributors.  Ultimately, he believed he could do a better job at distribution.  So, on November 18, 1983, Hank opened a 5,000 square foot warehouse in Tampa, Florida and the company began to sell to the local pool builders, service companies, and retail stores in the Tampa Bay area.

     In July 1986 Hank's daughter Susan Mozas-Cahn began to work with the company as president.  She holds that position to this day.

     In early 2002 Hank's health had deteriorated to the point where his input was no longer possible.  Long time employees David Shock (Purchasing) and Michael Blue (Sales) became partners in Florida Water Products and together with Susan Mozas-Cahn have a collective 85 years experience working together at Florida Water Products.

     The company's philosophy of excellent service and loyalty to both select manufacturers and customers has created an enduring business with eight locations throughout the state.

     Florida Water Products, Inc. is now in it's third generation as a family business as Luis Mozas, grandson of Hank Caballero, is the company's web site designer!
